Teeth whitening in Macquarie Park
Teeth whitening lightens the natural colour of teeth using a peroxide-based gel. At North Ryde Dentistry, opposite Macquarie Centre, we offer two professional options:
- Take-home whitening — $449. Custom-made trays and whitening gel, worn at home over one to two weeks.
- In-chair whitening — $649. Whitening gel applied at the practice in a single appointment.

What whitening can and can’t do
Whitening works on natural tooth enamel. It does not change the colour of crowns, veneers or fillings, and results vary from person to person. Teeth gradually darken again over time, especially with coffee, tea, red wine or smoking.
Risks
The most common side effects are tooth sensitivity and gum irritation, which are usually temporary. Whitening is not recommended if you have untreated decay or gum disease. Read the risks and considerations.
