There is no single price for Invisalign because every treatment plan is different. Understanding how the fee is worked out will help you compare quotes fairly.
How the fee is worked out
- How much movement is needed and whether the bite needs correcting.
- The number of aligners and refinement sets.
- The expected length of treatment and number of reviews.
- Any treatment needed first.
- Retainers at the end of treatment.
Comparing quotes
When comparing, check that each quote includes the same things: records, aligners, refinements, reviews and retainers. A lower headline fee may not include everything.
Payment options
Interest-free payment plans are available for eligible patients, subject to terms and approval. Current package details are on our Invisalign packages page. Some health funds contribute to orthodontic treatment, depending on your level of cover.
The process
- Consultation and assessment.
- Aligners worn 20 to 22 hours a day, changed every one to two weeks.
- Regular reviews and possible refinements.
- Retainers to help hold the teeth in position.
Risks
These include discomfort, gum problems, decay if hygiene is poor, root shortening and relapse. Read more about orthodontics and Invisalign.
