Visiting a new dental practice for the first time? Here is what to expect.
1. Booking
You can book online or call our front desk to find a convenient time.
2. Your examination
Your first visit usually includes a full check-up of your teeth, gums and mouth, and X-rays or intraoral photos if needed. All our dentists are registered with the Dental Board of Australia. If it has been a while since your last visit, a scale and clean and fluoride may be recommended.
3. Discussing your goals
If you have a specific concern, your dentist will talk through what you would like to achieve, your options, the risks and the costs, and prepare a treatment plan with you.
4. Aftercare and follow-up
Your dentist will share tips for looking after your teeth at home and let you know when your next visit is due.
